Draft for legal reviewThis page shows the structure and what each section will cover. It is a design draft, not legal text.

What we keep

Insurance estimates often carry an insured's name and address, so we treat the whole PDF as personal data. This is what we keep.

The PDF
The estimate you upload, from an adjuster or a contractor.
The ESX
The file we build from it, to download and import into Xactimate.
The reconciliation sheet
The PDF that sets our total against the Line Item Totals row of your PDF.
The conversion summary
A data file with the lines, room names and amounts we read from the PDF, and the name of your file.
Technical records
A fingerprint of each PDF (to spot the same file twice), its page count and size, a log of your downloads, and request counts we use to stop abuse.
Your account
Your email address, your name or company if you give one, and your receipts. We also keep session data, such as the IP address and device of your sign-ins.
How long
We keep the PDF to improve how Levelly reads estimates, and the ESX and the sheet so you can download them again from your history.
To have your files deleted, write to support@uselevelly.com.

Why we keep it

To build your ESX and your sheet, to show them in your history so you can download them again, to answer you if you write to us about a conversion, and to improve how Levelly reads estimates.

Who it is shared with

Us
The people who run the service, to build your files and give support.
Service providers
The companies that host the site and keep the files (Vercel, Supabase), send our emails (Resend) and take payments (Stripe). They handle data only to run the service.
AI
None. Our own software reads your PDF; no AI service sees it.
Anyone else
No. We do not sell your data.

Improving Levelly

We keep the PDFs you upload to improve how Levelly reads estimates. They are never sold or shared outside our team, and no AI service sees them. To have yours deleted, write to support@uselevelly.com.

Our email list

If you join the list, we send product news and nothing else. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough. Emails about your account and your receipts are separate and are not part of the list.

Questions about your data

Levelly is operated by Daniel Niño, who is responsible for your data. Write to us on the Contact page. The rules for using the service are on the Terms page.
